What happens to your files

The honest version, not a badge wall. Files do upload to our servers. Here is how they are protected and how fast they are gone.

Some tools claim files never leave your device. Ours do upload, because server-side processing is faster and works on any device. The trade we make is to be exact about the handling rather than vague about the location.

Encryption

Files travel to our servers over TLS 1.3, the current standard for transport encryption. They are encrypted in transit and at rest while they are being processed.

Deletion

On the free tier, your uploaded file and its output are deleted within 2 hours. Deletion is automatic; you do not have to ask. On paid tiers, files are kept only while you work and can be deleted on demand.

Deleted within 2 hours

The file you upload and the result we produce are removed from our systems no later than 2 hours after processing on the free tier. There is no hidden archive and no copy kept for analysis.

What we do not do

Reporting an issue

If you find a security problem, the fastest path is the contact route in the trust center. We read those reports and we do not punish people for honest disclosure.
