A PDF tool I would trust with my own files

filefreaks is built by Media International in Delhi, India. The brief was simple: handle files honestly, charge a fair price, and make something good to use.

Most PDF tools work fine and feel slightly off. They upload your file, then stay vague about what happens next. They price the basics low and put anything useful behind a second charge. We wanted the opposite.

What we set out to do

Three decisions shaped the product, and they show up on every page.

First, honest data handling. Files are encrypted on upload with TLS 1.3 and deleted within 2 hours on the free tier. We do not read them, train on them, or pass them to anyone. The security and privacy pages spell out the details.

Second, fair economics. Prices are lower than the common options, and AI is bundled from $3 a month rather than sold as an add-on that doubles the bill. The pricing page shows the full picture.

Third, a product worth using. The tools read clearly, run fast, and stay out of your way. That part is hard to put in a feature list, so the best test is to open a file and try one.

The bar is whether we would hand this our own contracts. If the answer is no, it does not ship.

Where we are

The six core tools are live and free. Editing and the paid tiers are coming soon. The changelog records what has already shipped.
